4 Bay Farm Shed
12 x 24 x 5.0m Open front shed with 4 x 6m bays, a popular configuration for hay storage.
We can do any size hay shed you need, from a small two bay shelter to large scale fodder storage. Choose from standard large sheds to your own design, to suit your needs.
Count the bales. A standard round bale is about 1.5m across, so a 9m x 20m shed with 4.2m clearance stores roughly 300 round bales stacked three high. Size the bays to the loader, not the bale.
Open front hay sheds start at $22,498 for 9m x 20m with five 4m bays (Region A, Zincalume) and $38,998 for 12m x 24m with four 6m bays. Every current special is published with Region A and B prices.
Open on one or more sides for airflow, which cuts the risk of heating and mould, with the open side facing away from the prevailing rain. Fully enclosed hay sheds need ventilation designed in.
Yes. Every kit is engineered for the wind region of your site. Region A and Region B are priced as standard; cyclone rated (Region C and D) designs are available on request. Sheds Galore is ShedSafe accredited.
Yes. Sheds Galore supplies hay shed kits to metropolitan, regional and rural addresses in every state and territory. Your kit is made at the nearest of Stramit’s 17 plants and delivered to site; delivery cost depends on the location and the size of the kit.
